I am so grateful to have finally found a book talking about animals dying naturally & on their own & surrounded by loved ones, instead of the #1 cause of death now "euthanasia". I wish I had this book available to me years ago to help me make much better decisions of all my furry kids in the past.Anyone who has their own animals, or, who works with animals in any capacity should read this - it should be mandatory reading !! Every animal shelter should read this. Every veterinarian should read this. I've made horrible mistakes in the past, euthanizing my furry kids way too soon due to so much pressure in our society - teaching to euthanize. This book will fill your heart with love & teach you how to love & respect your animals in ways you've never considered.I've worked with animals for 30 years in my own business, &, in animal shelters, at veterinarians offices. I have been taught in this business & personal life that animals are always to be euthanized when they get very sick & old.I was in a rehab recently for broken shoulder. Half the people in the rehab did not have the quality of life my animals had at the time I euthanized them.Instead of making horrible regrets - read this book. At least, you will know you have options & what they are. And, they can be contacted as well. There are times when euthanasia is beneficial. But, so often, there are other, loving options.I was also priviledged to visit an animal sanctuary that did Hospice for Animals, along with doing Services for them when they passed, &, all the animals experienced being surrounded by their loved ones when they passed (people & animals)....how beautiful !!!!
